Our Beginnings.
A Soy Candle. That’s how Rejoice began; one candle, two friends and a dream to create all natural, home, body and spa products. Rejoice! Home Body and Spa was created by two friends. We became interested in health and skincare as a respite from the world of synthetically, lab created toxins, that so many companies want us to believe are good for us. We wanted to create products that everyone in the home could use without all of the created toxins and excess unnecessary ingredients that so many commercial companies used. Both of us experienced different health issues within our family that prompted us to start creating more user friendly, natural products with ingredients that you could not only read, but you knew exactly what they were, most of them in your own pantry.
My daughter was diagnosed with eczema at five (5) months old and the pediatrician wanted to use a topical steroid to treat the symptoms. I wasn’t happy with the harsh ingredients that I would have to put on my daughter at such a young age. So I opted to do some research and try to find a more natural solution to treat the skin condition, not to mention that my husband and I both suffered from extremely dry skin.
Meanwhile, my business partner who was still living in Indiana was experiencing acne issues with her teenage daughter. It seemed that most of the products on the market for acne were so full of unrecognizable ingredients that she nearly gave up hope. Her entire family suffered from dry skin as well.
We both started conversing about body care products and their lack of quality and decided that we would make our own skin care products. We vowed to use only the finest natural ingredients.
We both took a leap of faith: She packed up her family, leaving her home and job behind to move to North Carolina and I left my job to devote more hours to developing the product and company.
We would make our product in our kitchens and test on ourselves, our spouses, family and friends. Everyone raved about the product and suggested that we should sell our product. We started doing research on natural body care, experimented with product development and perfected our recipes. We created the ultimate all natural luxury body products, without compromising on quality.
Rejoice! Home Body and Spa was founded with $35, with two moms and one vision. Since launching we have grown from one product to over 80 products. We are still growing, still using all natural ingredients, and still making our product by hand in small controlled batches at the time of order.

We also understand that most lives are so full that there isn't much time for relaxing or pampering, especially for ourselves. But, we firmly believe that a happy, healthy, and productive person needs balance. That means you must have time to relax and let your mind, body, and spirit refocus. We wanted to make a difference in how people cared for themselves and their families.

We believe that FRESH is best! There's something special about having treats made FRESH from pure & wholesome ingredients, hand-blended, individually labeled, packed and wrapped just for YOU! The ingredients we use in our recipes are carefully monitored for purity & quality.
We believe in topical nourishment & the importance of indulgence. Our recipes are packed full of greatness which makes it easier than ever for you to spoil yourself with our ultra-creamy-vitamin enriched products. We believe in Community. We believe in using ingredients that are produced by environmentally sustainable processes. Whether here in North Carolina or in Ghana. We purchase our chemical free bee pollen, propolis and royal jelly from a local bee farmer. Our Shea Butter is purchased from a co-op of women in Ghana and TOGO, Africa. Our Shea Butter purchases allow the women in Africa to be self-sustainable and to be paid a fair wage for their work. We have also partnered with local artisans who create hand-made items that will become family heirlooms. Please visit our products page for more information.
We only use packaging that is 100% recyclable.
We are also doing our part to help the environment by:

No single and/or group of ingredients are universally recognized as being allergy-free. Our Senses & Sensibility page lists certain ingredients that should be avoided when used topically. We list warnings for those who have Nut Allergies, Sensitive Skin, Expectant Mothers, Children, Celiac sufferers and more.
Knowledge & transparency are essential to establishing respect, confidence & trust in the products that we hand-blend for you. We guarantee to always provide you as much information regarding the ingredients we use. We also encourage you to read the label of the products you purchase & understand the ingredients contained in the products.

All of Rejoice’s product are made to order and individually packaged to ensure freshness. Our products not pre-packed & left on the shelf waiting for condensation to set in. Each of our products are hand crafted, using recipes - not formulas with quality natural ingredients. Rather than fill our creations with lab created chemicals we choose to work with Mother Nature and utilize only those quality ingredients that yield superior results and benefits for your mind, body and spirit.
